Honduras has arrived!

Welcome Honduras to the First Press family!

We’ve been searching for the perfect partner in crime to our Brazil single origin and after months of testing, we’re finally ready to bring it out of the lab. Our Honduras has notes of creamy hazelnut and slight citrus with a sweet toffee finish that is ideal for those who enjoy a lighter and smoother coffee.

Best of all, our Honduras is made from certified organic coffee beans sourced through direct trade with Honduran coffee growers and roasted by our friends at STREAT, a social enterprise that helps the homeless youth of Melbourne develop skills for a career in hospitality.

Our Honduras bean is a Pacamara varietal sourced from a small 23 hectare farm that sits at around 1300m above sea level. It's a larger bean that exhibits a premium quality at higher elevations and is known for its excellent balance and slight citric notes.

What does this mean for Sidamo? Despite what you have seen in the Olympics, Ethiopians can't run forever. This little guy needs a rest and will be dripped from a fresh new crop soon.

To all First Press Coffee subscribers, we’ll be swapping out your Sidamo orders with Honduras once we’re all out of Sidamo. We'll let you know when this is happening but for now enjoy the last exotic notes of Sidamo and be ready for a new batch!

We’ll be rolling Honduras out to all stockists (find your closest stockist here!) and adding two Honduras Little Kickers to every order placed online in the next week so you can try it out. All orders over $60 also get free shipping so get cracking!
